We have commenced our Autumn Flu and COVID booster campaign. All our patients >65 years have been invited to attend
Cherryvalley Health Centre on Saturday 7th October (all day)
If you have not yet received an invitation (for example if our systems do not have an updated mobile number) and are in this age category you are welcome to attend without giving us prior notice.
Groups who are eligible for the COVID booster are as follows:
all adults aged 65 years and over
persons aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group, as laid out in the Immunisation Green Book, COVID-19 chapter (Green Book)
frontline health and social care workers
persons aged 12 to 64 years who are household contacts of people with immunosuppression
persons aged 16 to 64 years who are carers and staff working in care homes for older adults
HSC Trusts will undertake COVID vaccination for those under 16 years old
We have scheduled a further clinic on Friday 20th October in Cherryvalley Health Centre.
The COVID booster we have been given this autumn is Pfizer (COMINARTY)
Our local pharmacies are also offering vaccines to those eligible and you are welcome to book with them as an alternative.
